To ensure you have a comfortable and seamless stay at Pearly Hotel & Spa, please review our frequently asked questions and hotel policies below.
The questions below are the ones our reception team is asked most often by visitors to Antalya. They cover hotel policies (check-in, dress code, pets), practical traveller concerns (currency, electricity, ATMs, safety, tipping) and a handful of "how do I" questions about Antalya itself. If you do not find your question here, the easiest way to reach us is on WhatsApp at +90 539 516 07 60; the team usually replies within an hour during European daytime.
Check-in time is from 14:00 onwards. Check-out time is before 12:00 (Noon). Late check-outs may be available upon request and subject to availability.
Yes, we provide VIP airport transfer services. Please contact the reception via WhatsApp at least 24 hours prior to your flight to arrange your transportation.
To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, pets are generally not allowed on the hotel premises. Exceptions apply for registered service animals.
You can easily book a session at Le Spa by visiting the spa reception on the ground floor or by clicking the "Le Spa Reservation" button on our main information page.
We kindly ask guests to observe a smart-casual dress code in our main dining areas. Swimwear and bare feet are not permitted in the restaurant during meal times.
Yes, Wi-Fi is free for all guests throughout the property. Connect to the network named PEARLYHOTEL in capital letters, choose the "hotel guest" login, enter your room number and date of birth, and tap connect. Access becomes active approximately 10 minutes after check-in. If you experience any issue, dial reception (extension 0) and we will reset the connection from our side.
Breakfast is an open buffet served daily from 07:30 to 10:30. It includes Turkish breakfast plates (cheese, olives, charcuterie, eggs to order, fresh bread, jams, honey, yogurt) plus continental options (cereals, fruit, pastries). Filter coffee, tea and water are complimentary; specialty coffees and fresh juices are charged separately. Late breakfast (after 10:30) can be arranged on request for a small surcharge.
Yes, free of charge. Reception will store your luggage securely on the day of arrival before 14:00 and on the day of departure until late evening if your flight is later than check-out time. Please collect a numbered receipt when you drop your bags off.
Yes. Cots for infants up to age 2 are provided free of charge — please request when booking. Children's beds (single or sofa-bed) can be added to most rooms for a small fee. We also have a small selection of children's books, board games and DVDs at reception if you forgot anything at home.
The lobby and most public areas are step-free. The reception entrance has a gentle ramp. Wheelchair-accessible rooms with adapted bathrooms are available — request when booking. Konyaaltı Beach Park, ten minutes' walk away, has accessible ramps, beach wheelchairs (free rental from the lifeguard hut) and accessible public toilets.
Turkey uses the Turkish Lira (TRY). While many tourist-oriented businesses accept euros and US dollars, the exchange rate they offer is usually unfavourable. Use Turkish Lira for everything. ATMs are easy to find and accept all major international cards; we recommend withdrawing from bank-branded machines (Garanti, Akbank, İş Bankası) rather than freestanding "Euronet" terminals.
Most hotels, restaurants, mall shops, and supermarkets accept contactless Visa, Mastercard and increasingly Apple Pay / Google Pay. Smaller bazaars, neighbourhood markets, dolmuş minibuses, some taxis and many small Kaleiçi vendors are cash-only. Plan to carry 500–1,000 TL in small notes (20s, 50s, 100s) for daily use.
Turkey uses the Continental European Type F plug (two round pins, also known as Schuko). The voltage is 230 V at 50 Hz. UK, US, Australian and Japanese devices need a travel adapter — reception keeps a few loaner adapters and will lend one against a small deposit. Most modern phone and laptop chargers handle 100–240 V automatically; older hair dryers and curling irons may not.
Tap water in Antalya is safe for brushing teeth, washing food and showering, but the high mineral content means most locals (and almost all visitors) drink bottled water. 5-litre bottles are sold cheaply at every supermarket. We provide complimentary bottled water in your room each day; please ask reception if you need extra.
Tipping in Turkey is appreciated but not as rigorously expected as in the United States. Restaurants: 10% if a service charge is not already included. Taxis: round up to the nearest 10 TL. Spa & hairdressing: 10–15% for the therapist. Housekeeping: 50–100 TL per day in the envelope provided at reception is appreciated for longer stays. Tour guides: 100–200 TL per person at the end of a full day.
Antalya is one of the safer Mediterranean tourist cities. Violent crime against tourists is rare. The usual risks are pickpocketing in crowded areas (Hadrian's Gate, Kaleiçi shopping streets), occasional drink-spiking at large nightclubs (keep an eye on your glass) and the standard taxi-overcharge attempts (insist on the meter). Women travelling alone report Antalya as comfortable, though more conservative dress is appropriate when visiting mosques. The emergency number for police is 155, ambulance 112.
The official language is Turkish, but English is widely spoken in tourist-facing businesses across Antalya — hotels, restaurants, malls, taxis, museums. Russian and German are also very common in service jobs. Outside the tourist zones (residential neighbourhoods, local markets, government offices), basic Turkish phrases are appreciated. The Google Translate app with the offline Turkish pack handles most situations.
Yes — Turkey is a secular state and alcohol is legal and widely available in restaurants, bars and supermarkets to anyone over 18. Public drinking (in parks, on beaches, in the street) is technically restricted but rarely enforced for tourists. During Ramadan, restaurants still serve alcohol but more discreetly. The legal blood-alcohol limit for driving is 0.05% — the same as most EU countries.
Turkey's country code is +90. To call our reception WhatsApp from abroad: +90 539 516 07 60. To call within Turkey, drop the +90 and dial 0 first: 0539 516 07 60. Emergency numbers (police 155, ambulance 112, fire 110) do not require a country code.
Yes. Antalya has well-equipped private hospitals with English- and Russian-speaking staff (notably Memorial Antalya and Medical Park Antalya), both within 15 minutes by taxi from Pearly Hotel. Most accept international travel insurance directly. Reception can arrange a doctor's house-visit ("doktor"; usually 1,500–2,500 TL) within an hour if you prefer not to leave the hotel. Pharmacies (eczane) carry most common medications and at least one in each neighbourhood operates a 24-hour rota — ask reception for the nearest nöbetçi eczane.
Yes — our reception books day trips, private guides, boat charters and airport transfers as part of our concierge service. Tour prices match those of the operators directly, with no markup. Popular options include Aspendos + Side + Manavgat (1,200 TL/person), Olympos + Chimaera + Phaselis (1,400 TL/person) and Pamukkale day trip (2,000 TL/person). See our Antalya Travel Guide for more.
